Transgender Day of Remembrance March + Vigil-Nov 20th

On Tuesday, November 20th, join Equality Health Center and ACLU of New Hampshire for a march, vigil, and reception in recognition of Transgender Day of Remembrance.

The march will begin at the Equality Health Center at 6pm, but please show up by 5:55pm. Parking is available at the Equality Health Center.

Once at the State House lawn, we were read the names of transgender people recently lost to violence, a few words will be shared, and we will return to the Equality Health Center for a reception.

Transgender Day of Remembrance was started in 1998 to honor the memory of Rita Hester, a transgender woman who was murdered. The vigil has become a yearly event celebrated internationally to commemorate all transgender people lost to violence in the previous year.
