Dan Weeks, the Director of Market Development for ReVision Energy
discusses the real possibility that our power will go out and how the
damage to our planet from climate change is escalating. He explores how a
bottom-up movement can radically change how we generate power, creating
an energy democracy. Such grassroots organization is interdependent
and regenerative.
Dan believes that we can transform the power dynamic
by the people and successfully make the transition from fossil fuels to
clean energy. Dan Weeks is a Director with ReVision Energy. Dan Weeks
raced with the Con Val Solar Car team in high school before leaving to
serve with AmeriCorps and study at Yale and Oxford. Now he works as a
director at ReVision Energy, a local Benefit Corporation committed to
accelerating New England’s clean energy transition. ReVision Energy
aims to help people and businesses transition away from fossil fuels to
sustainable solar energy.
