The
report from a private consulting firm evaluating the bids for private
prisons in New Hampshire was due Friday, Oct. 5, but the deadline has
been extended. MGT of America now has until Oct. 15 to submit its report
to the Executive Council. If you agree that outsourcing our state's
prisons is a bad idea, you can sign on to a petition here
telling Gov. Lynch and the Executive Council that private prisons are
wrong for N.H. If you'd like to know more about the prison privatization
issue, go to www.nhprisonwatch.org.
