The Strafford County Democratic Committee will meet in Dover
Wednesday, Sept. 12th, the day after the state primary, at 7 p.m. at the Obama office,
660 Central Ave., to talk about the next phase of the election.
“Despite
Republican hostility toward the president since his first day in office,
President Obama has been extremely successful during his first term,”
Democratic county chair Joe Cicirelli said this week. “The Democratic
Convention has been the perfect venue for celebrating his achievements and reminding
the rest of the country why it is so important to keep moving forward with the
president. We invite all interested Democrats in our county to join us as we
celebrate the nomination of President Obama and all of our other
candidates and plan our next steps in this vital election.”
